Modern Slavery Policy.

Our Commitment

At Labels.eco, we are committed to conducting our business ethically, sustainably, and with integrity.
As a certified carbon-neutral company, we take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously and stand firmly against all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in our operations and supply chains.

Our Business

Labels.eco (Eco Labels Ltd) provides sustainable labelling solutions for manufacturers across the UK, including compostable, recyclable, recycled, and linerless labels. We are based in the UK and work with carefully selected suppliers and partners to ensure our materials meet high environmental and ethical standards.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include the sourcing of raw materials (such as paper, adhesives, and compostable substrates), printing equipment, and packaging materials. Wherever possible, we source from UK-based and EU suppliers to ensure greater transparency and compliance with ethical and legal standards. We expect our suppliers to uphold the same zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and require them to comply with relevant legislation, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Policies and Due Diligence

– We have a zero-tolerance policy on modern slavery and human trafficking.

– We conduct due diligence on new suppliers to ensure they meet ethical and environmental standards.

– We are actively reviewing our existing supply chain to identify and mitigate any risks related to modern slavery.

– We maintain open communication with our suppliers and request evidence of their own compliance with anti-slavery practices.

Risk Assessment and Management

The risk of modern slavery within our direct operations is low due to the nature of our business and the fact that our operations are based in the UK. However, we recognise that some risks may exist within global raw material supply chains. We are working to improve transparency and will continue to engage with suppliers to reduce these risks.

Training and Awareness

We are committed to raising awareness among our staff to recognise and report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical practices in the supply chain.

Looking Ahead

We are committed to continuously improving our practices, increasing supply chain transparency, and taking further steps to ensure that modern slavery has no place within our business or supply network.
